Hey
I recently purchases my ASUS ROG X870-F motherboard. Everything seems to be working fine however after a couple days two of my USB slots have stopped working, my E3 and E4 ports.
I tried plugging different stuff into it to see if it'd work, such as my mouse, a USB etc however it didn't.
It lights up my mouse dongle & the USB however the mouse doesn't work and the USB doesn't show up.
Anyone know how I can fix this before I end up ordering another motherboard?

Hello @haroon02
Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for the delayed response due to a public holiday in our region and any inconvenience this may have caused.
Based on your description, could you confirm whether ports E1 and E2 are functioning normally, while only E3 and E4 are not working correctly?
We recommend referring to the troubleshooting steps outlined in [Windows 11/10] Troubleshooting - USB Functionality Issues to help resolve the issue.
Additionally, please check both the BIOS and system settings to ensure there are no power limitations affecting the ports:
[Windows 11/10] Change Power Mode and Plan
Meanwhile, since you have recently purchased the product, we also suggest considering whether it would be appropriate to contact your reseller for further after-sales support.
Thank you.

I'm having a similar issue on the same motherboard. None of my 10G USB ports are working after a PC restart. Further, I keep getting an error in Device Manager - "Unknown USB Device (Configuration Descriptor Request Failed)". Also on occasion, I would get windows notifications that a USB device has failed to install, yet the ports were working fine when that happened.
Just at a loss!
