Hello everyone,
I've been encountering a recurring issue with my PC recently. Sometimes, after the system has been on for a while and I try to restart it, I get error code "0d" displayed on my motherboard. To resolve this and boot up correctly, I have to perform a hard shutdown, after which the system boots up normally.
This problem started occurring recently, more than a year and a half after I initially built the system. It coincided with upgrades including new Corsair QX fans and switching from an ASUS Strix 3090 to an ASUS TUF 4070 Ti Super GPU.
Here's what I've tried so far to resolve the issue:
- Tested different BIOS versions
- Replaced CPU with Ryzen 9 7900X3D
- Replaced motherboard to the same model ROG X670E Hero
- Installed a new AIO cooler, Corsair iCUE LINK H150i
- Tested with different RAM kits, Corsair Vengeance 6000MHz 2x16GB
My PC specifications are as follows:
- Motherboard: Asus ROG X670E Hero
- CPU: Previously Ryzen 7 7800X3D, now Ryzen 9 7900X3D
- GPU: ASUS TUF 4070 Ti Super 16GB
- PSU: Corsair RM-1200X SHiFT
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 5200MHz 2x16GB (32GB total)
- Case: Corsair 5000X RGB
- Fans and CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE LINK ecosystem
- Storage: 2x Samsung 990 Pro 1TB, 1x Samsung 980 Pro 2TB
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Same issue here, on Crosshair X670E Extreme. Reverting to stock DDR5 settings doesn't help. Workaround has been to force Memory Context Restore and when the 0d thing happens, press and hold the front panel power button to turn off and back on.

if AC is really the reason for this then the Extreme is worthless.
Latest BIOS bricks the mini OLED display.
Without AC you cant configure the mini OLED and also the Matrix LED but with AC the system seems to be instable as hell.
Guess if I cant use the all features of the board it is time to replace it with an X870E board from a different vendor in the near future

I've uninstalled AC. Guess I'll know soon if it still happens to me.

Just got an 0d with no Armoury Crate. So much for that hypothesis.

was it the first reboot after the uninstall?
I used the AC uninstaller from ASUS and when it asked be for the reboot I also got the 0d reboot.
But now it seems to be fine

No, it was beyond that, after multiple restarts, shutdowns, and full power cycles.
I have also now updated to the latest BIOS and chipset drivers. No change.

I also have 0d every few restarts. Nothing helped, BIOS resets, removing RAM. I came across this topic, removed Armoury Crate and... I did 29 restarts, no error.
I have crosshair x670e hero + 7950x3d + 2x32GB G.Skill 6000

Try doing a few complete power cycles (pulling the power plug and all) and then try restarting again. I know for me it took quite a few restarts and power cycles after removing Armoury Crate to make it happen again but it eventually did.

Testing for 2 days. It was disconnected for a long time. It has already done 41 restarts and no error.

Here's a quick update regarding the issue. After uninstalling Armoury Crate and testing for a few days, I still encountered the "0d" error.
I decided to sell this motherboard and ordered an MSI motherboard instead.
