Asus Rog x670e Hero 4 Dimm ram not working

nightwolfmilan
Level 7

Experiencing a weird behavior, as this issue is for a newly build:
Just purchased the X670E Hero board, with 128GB of RAM. (F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR)

The RAM is EXPO certified, and I'm using the default speeds (3600MHz while using 4 DIMMs)
Already there were a couple of Bluescreen restarts by windows, just by browsing the web for applications to install.

Hello nightwolfmilan

You're having issues for two reasons.

1) You're combining two memory kits.

2) Four sticks in most cases will be problematic.

Best advice would be to return a kit.

Hello, @nightwolfmilan

We have released the formal version of BIOS 1415 for the ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO on our official website.
The synchronization of different country-specific websites may experience slight delays, but it is expected to be available on the official website within 24 hours.
Please try updating to the latest BIOS version and performing a clear CMOS before verifying the problem again.

Thank you.
