Hello,
I have severe network lag and drops while gaming. Searching online it sounds like Intel ethernet controller I226-V is the problem. Intel have advised that I reach out to ASUS to update NVM version to 2.22 and Windows 11 driver to 2.1.3.15
Please can someone please help advise how I can get these.
Thanks

Hello, @mjj7
Could you please confirm if the BIOS has been updated to the latest version 2301, released on May 30, 2024, and if the Intel I225/I226 LAN NDIS driver has been updated to Version 1.1.4.38?
If disabling EEE as shown in the following path would resolve the issue?
Intel(R) Ethernet Controller Properties > Select "Energy Efficient Ethernet" > Set Value to "On (when system is in S0, S0c and Sx)".
Kindly refer to the following FAQs and clearing CMOS before rechecking again.

Hi @mjj7 when you go to your motherboard support page at https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z790-i-gaming-wifi-model/helpdesk_download/ and click on SHOW ALL to Expand LAN Driver category, you will find the Intel I225 / I226 LAN Driver V2.1.3.3 For Windows 11 64-bit driver that Intel is recommending. The direct download link is https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/04LAN/DRV_LAN_Intel_I225_I226_TSD_W11_64_V11438_20230321R.zip?...
You can give this version a try.

Hi all, to fix the issue I had to uninstall some ASUS software. The network issues where resolved once I uninstalled:
ASUS Armoury Crate & ASUS AI Suite
I hope this helps others.
