ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming Wifi Error 00

My specs
ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming Wifi
i7 14900k
4x Samsung M.2
G.Skill Trident Z5 6400Mhz

Previous I had an i7 13900k and change the cooler to an AIO from Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360 A-RGB a paint to install. Since the change I only get the Error 00, Fans from the AIO where spinning but I was unable to finde the issue. I thought I might killed the CPU or the socket with the crap installation 😄 So I decided to send the 13900k back and ordered a 14900k. No luck, still the same issue. Then I thought It might be some issue with the MB itself, so I ordered the ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming Wifi and a NZXT Kraken Elite V2, because I didn't want to remove the CPU socket again... I have to say I also ordered a new LianLi Case

So basically besideds of the GPU and the M2, everything is new.

- I have removed the MB from the Case, and only installed the CPU, one RAM and the cooler
- I have also tested it with a different PSU
- I tried without any M2, no idea if a 00 can be caused by a faulty M2
- Removing battery and wait an hour
- Clear Cmos

What I havent tested yet, is a Bios updated, is it possible that the preinstalled bios is that old that it doesn't recognize the 14900k?

Of course the cables are correkt, 2x for CPU and the ATX cable. Can it be some issue with detecting the CPU Fan? Does it matter or not?

Hello @Patrick124691

Thank you for reaching out to us, and sorry for any inconvenience caused by the delayed response.
According to [Motherboard] Common Q-CODE(Error CODE) and Troubleshooting, the Q-Code 00 observed on Intel platforms typically indicates a CPU-related issue detected during the POST process, which may result in failure to boot.
We recommend performing a minimal hardware setup test by removing the chassis and connecting only the CPU, CPU cooler, memory, PSU, and clear CMOS before checking whether the system is able to power on and access the BIOS.
Please refer to the user manual to ensure that all hardware components are properly installed, including verifying whether there are any bent pins in the CPU socket and checking whether the CPU cooler is mounted either too loosely or too tightly.
Regarding BIOS compatibility, the i9-13900K is supported on all BIOS versions for ROG STRIX Z790-E GAMING WIFI, while the i9-14900K requires BIOS version 1202 or later. Please assess whether a BIOS update may be necessary based on your current configuration.

Thank you.
