Hello all. I have a PC with a ROG X670E-F Gaming WiFi on board. And I have one question about fan speed on startup. I use a silent profile in BIOS and all fans work pretty quietly. But when I just press the power button on the PC and it starts running - all fans work on max speed for about 1-2 seconds and after that return back to silent job (I guess when BIOS finished its initialization). And it repeats on every PC startup or reload. Why it happens? Is it some part of initial testing? Is it possible to disable it or change some settings to make it silent?

Hello @5ORBEX
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Based on your description, the first one to two seconds after powering on correspond to the POST process. During this phase, the system verifies that all hardware components are functioning properly. Since fan control settings may not yet be loaded from the BIOS at this stage, the fans may briefly run at maximum speed.
In general, fans receive a higher initial startup voltage to ensure proper operation. Once the BIOS takes control and applies custom settings, the fan speed should return to normal.
Could you confirm if you are experiencing any other issues apart from this behavior?
Thank you.
