Hi,
I hope to find here some help. I currently have the following problem:
I have a ASUS ROG Strix B850-E Gaming WiFi Mainboard and as memory: Crucial DIMM 32
GB DDR5-6000 (2x 16 GB) Dual-Kit, CP2K16G60C36U5B
When installing both modules, the computer does not boot correctly. I get an error code C5 displayed on the mainboard. Strange thing is: When using only one stick, computer boots correctly. I tried with both sticks, it works with both - as long as I do not use them at the same time.
Any ideas, why I encounter this problem? Is there a known compatibility issue with my memory and the mainboard?
Thanks for your ideas and help 🙂

CODE C5 would indicate training failure. Does the system POST at all, following a Clear CMOS (complete Optimised Defaults), or does the training failure occur only when attempting to enable EXPO profiles?

Hi @Silent_Scone ,
I was finally able to work on that topic again and it is "solved", how ever, I am not 100% sure why.
The failure occured with EXPO disabled. I meanwhile enabled it and for some reason, now the system works with the two memory sticks. When now disabling EXPO, it also works. Not sure why and how, but ok.
I originally encountered my problem with EXPO disabled. The only thing I did between enabling EXPO and my first failures was to use "Load optimised defaults" in the Bios, which I was able to access with only one memory stick in place.
So from my point of view either the "load optimised defaults" or enabling expo solved the problem.
Thx for your ideas and support in this case!

Ok, cool. I would wager memory instability. A retrain may have improved the situation. Make sure to test stability correctly when overclocking with EXPO.
