I've recently built a new PC and while everything else works flawlessly it can't recognise any sata disk.
They dont even appear on the bios so i thought that maybe here i could get some help.
My system uses a ryzen 7 9800x3d and my OS is installed on a M.2 nvme in the M2_2 slot.
I also had my old 2tb hdd installed properly pluged to the psu and the first sata port, however not even the bios recognised it. Moved it to the second sata port with the same result.
Then installed an M.2 sata ssd in the M2_4 port, and it also was not being recognised. Tried in the rest of the pcie ports and it still was not being recognised. Reading the mobo manual i ended up reaching the conclusion that the reason was that having a 7000 or 9000 cpu only supported nvme M.2 disks on pcie.
So i said well maybe is some other incompatibility in the mobo i didnt noticed what was making my hdd not being detected. So i bought an adpater which allowed me to connect the hdd throught usb... and it still wasnt detected, so before reinstalling the os and the bios i was hoping that someone here could help me realize something dumb that i have been ignoring.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Emifox03

Did you manage to solve this issue? I have a b850i and for the life of me cannot get my hdd to show up. Trying to use it as additional storage for my 2tb m.2 nvme in my home theater pc build.
