Hi all,
This is very frustrating.
I created a new built using the Rog Strix B760-I Gaming WiFi and after installing everything I see that the Realtek drivers that I downloaded from the Asus site did not install any devices. I repeated the same for some time. I opened the Sonic Studio 3 and I got the message The current system is not supported or the audio driver has not been properly installed - NOIPKEY.
The driver rom the Asus site is Realtek_Audio_Driver_V6.0.9411.1_for_WIN10_WIN11_64-bit
If I try to install the device as a legacy device from the Device Manager and point to the Realtek folder, I get a blue screen and the system restarts.
I have not yet installed the Nvidia Experience and Driver but Windows installed on their own a driver for my NVIDIA GeForce RTX4070 that I have.
I haven't found anything related upon searching online which makes it very bizzare.

This morning a Windows Update installed and the Realtek Device appeared...
Now the OS build id 22631.3958
I was one day away of sending the Motherboard back... Amazing...
Case closed!

At this point i have tried everything. Every possible combination. I have clean installed Windows 11 and then with no internet (so that i don't get an automatic driver for nvidia) I had the realtek driver installed first. The driver appears in Control Panel Unistall or Change a Program, but there is no device in the device manager. I also checked with HWiNFO to see what is going on...
All this before i installed the Asus drivers (1st picture from HWiNFO) and after I installed all drivers except the Nvidia ones (second picture from Device Manager).
Can anyone make sense in any of these?

Hello, @kkatsaras and @cisco76
Could you please provide your current OS and OS build version, and confirm if audio output functions correctly when the described issue occurs?
Were the download and installation steps the same as those in [Windows 11/10] How to Install Drivers Downloaded from the ASUS Site?
If you followed the steps in [Motherboard] How to install motherboard drivers and utilities? and using Armoury Crate to install the audio driver, does the error still occur?
If the above FAQs do not help resolve the issue, please follow these steps and provide a video of the installation setup:
Start recording > Confirm the current audio driver version > Install Realtek_Audio_Driver_V6.0.9411.1 > Launch Sonic Studio 3 and show the error prompt.
Also, please confirm the following:
- the current BIOS version and please clear CMOS
- the brand and model name of the CPU, GPU, RAM (part number and installed slots as well), SSD/HDD, and PSU currently installed
Thank you.

Edition - Windows 11 Pro
Version - 23H2
Istalled on - 21/7/2024
OS build - 22631.3880
Experience - Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0
No audio device detected in Device Manager so the ports at the back do not work at all. I don't have front ports in my build but if I had they would not work as well as the device is not present at all. I tested connected to a bluetooth audio device (Marshall Acton Speaker in this case) and it works. I also bought a USB dongle - Audio device and it installs get's recognized so I can have a seperate USB audio device (external one).
I installed ASUS driver - Realtek_Audio_Driver_V6.0.9411.1_for_WIN10_WIN11_64-bit. The driver appears in the Add/Remove Program window but no change in the Device manager and the software that is installed with the driver does not connect to any device (Sonic Radar 3, Sonic Studio 3 etc)
Asus Armoury Create does not show any audio drivers to be installed.
BIOS firmware versio is 1661
CPU - Intel i7 137000KF
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (AD104-250) [ASUS]
NVMe - KINGSTON SNV2S000G
Memory - 2xKINGSTON KF556C40-32
One interesting piece of information is that after the Realtek drivers get installed the option to manually add a Legacy device shows Realtek as an option (this option does not exist in a clean windows installation). When I try to add the device as a legacy device and navigate and select any of the two options as a driver I get a blue screen and the coputer restarts.
I've been in contact with Asus Support through email and we have reached a conclusion that probably there is a hardware defect and I should return the board.

The same. Audio not detected in Strix x670E-A. I did everything. Also the new audio firmware impossible to use because no device audio is present.
