ASUS ROG Strix B760-I Gaming Wifi | BIOS | NO Keyboard Detected!

Hi,

I just finished building a new PC, and when I tried a brand new keyboard I'm not even able to enter the BIOS the first time due to the BIOS-error NO Keyboard Detected!.

So far I've tried the following:

  • 2 Different brand new keyboards directly from a local store (QWARE Liverpool & Logitech K120)
  • All of the USB-ports in the motherboard, including the chassis front ports
  • All USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports
  • Both keyboards don't show any lights turning on during boot, nor do they work during when I press the keys
  • Tested both keyboards on other computers and they work fine

Anyone experienced something similar with this mobo?

Probem fixed!

Turns out disconnecting everything possible such as external chassis USB-cables including the external GPU was a good way to troubleshoot.

It turns out the chassis USB cable towards the U32G1_910 was causing the problem.

As soon as I disconnected it I was able to use any keyboard and could enter the BIOS.
