Just bought this new motherboard and out of box this problem appears!
When ever I Shutdown, the pc display goes off but the components in case stay on and fans keep spinning and rgb is also on!
Only way to shutdown is to unplug and not even force shutdown works!
Iv tried A-Z Stuff in windows and also updated bios and even reset it and even changed CMOS!
At this point im so confused
iv changed every single component and only the mobo is doing all of this!
Please help me!

Hi @Housd which RGB Memory are you using? As you can see from my signature I am using Corsair Memory. In my case, I had to configure the RGB of the memory using the iCUE software and most of the motherboard connected RGB devices using the ErP configuration in the BIOS.
With ErP enabled, what devices are not shutting down for you? Is it just the memory or is there anything else also not shutting down? If it is just memory, can you provide the exact memory you are using?

I'm using Gskill Trident Z Neo RGB DDR5 6000Mhz Cl30 16x2.
All the components stay on but the display goes off when I shutdown!

Hi @Housd Can you please post a following screenshot of your system?
You can get to it by open CONTROL PANEL > HARDWARE and SOUND > POWER OPTIONS . Then on the left hand side click on Choose what power buttons do to get to the above window.
If you have Turn on Fast Startup (recommended) option Enabled (or CHECKED) which is a Windows 11 default then UNCHECK it and click on SAVE changes. When this option is enabled, it will prevent from your system to fully getting into the shutdown state which is why you may be seeing some of your devices show they are still active and running.
I hope this helps you resolve your issue.

Hey @achugh !
TBH this was the first solution i tried and also did file repairs and also disabled hibernate !
Literally tried so many setting of windows but nothing worked!
I was wondering since mobo is new and under warranty, How do i claim warranty?
I bought it from Amazon.co.uk

Hi @Housd I am sorry to hear that things are still not working out for you.
I would contact Amazon UK Support and see what options they have for you with regards to a replacement board. If they cannot help then, you can call you local ASUS Customer Service Center for Warranty Support. You can also send a PM (Personal Message) to the moderators like Jiaszzz_ROG and the ASUS Customer Support team here can guide you with your RMA and Warranty needs in your area.
While you are trying to send the board back, maybe what you can do it to check if your board is accidentally touching the case. There are couple of way to run this test as follows:
I have read this post all over again. I am not sure how your case fans are connected like are you connecting them directly to the motherboard or you have some fan hub which is connected to you board. The fans are then connected to the hub rather than the board.
In order to have a nice RGB effect, ASUS boards by default supply USB power on the USB ports. If you have a fan hub for RGB lighting, it most likely will have a USB connection to one of the USB headers on the board. This means it will get power by default and hence it is possible that is why your fans are running.
If you would to continue trying, please list out your complete build with every single part number you are using. Then create a diagram either on a paper or in any photo editing software to describe how your motherboard and these fans are all connected including how you connected your CPU cooler as well. With this information, there may be one last attempt to help out before you call for RMA and return.
NOTE: If you are running out of Amazon RMA return period, I would start a return request while you are still running this last attempt to figure things out. You can always cancel the return if things start working as you will typically get 3-5 days to send back your return. I am not from UK so I do not know how much time you get in UK for returns. Please USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT to make the best decision for you.
