Asus ROG Strix b650e-e Error 00

I have a problem with my system which I built yesterday:

System New:

Asus Strix B650e-e

Ryzen 9 7900

Corsair DDR5 6000MHz

Bequiet P11 power supply.

After I start the PC, I get the error code 00 and the RAM LED lights up permanently, the system stops without a video signal. (No bios image).

What have I already done:

Bios Flashback + Cmos reset Ram's out, tried single slots through.

All unplugged and only 24 pin 12v+ ATX and 8 pin CPU power plug plugged in. CPU out, in.. with radiator without radiator. I can rule out the power supply as a source of error, because my old system runs 5800x with it.

The system just doesn't want to go into the hardware check.

Do you know the exact model of the memory?

what version of bios did you install?

Hi,

this is my memory:

  • 32GB 2x16 CORSAIR CMH32GX5M2B6000Z30K

Yes, I know the click sound. I've already built them out and in 10 times.

My bios version is:

ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI BIOS 1813

Your RAM checks out (on the QVL as you stated), so it is not likely that this is causing your problems. Because you already flashed the BIOS this too can be excluded as a cause. You also stated that the mobo goes straight into the double zero error state plus amber LED without flashing one of the other LEDs, even without RAM sticks installed. That really sounds like a mobo problem, and/or a CPU fitment issue. It could be that you overtightened the CPU cooler, causing the pins to bend. The most likely cause would then be a defective mobo, so you could check the CPU pin fit, and if possible, change the mobo.

Thank you The radiator can't be too tight on it, just pulled it hand-tight.

The CPU alone is held very strongly by the socket.

The pins are not damaged in my opinion.

I'll add a picture.

There is a beta version that you can test at your own risk: https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/amd-600-series/x670-resource/m-p/978877/highlight/true#M5313

I'm using this new test version (2204 beta) and it's better than the one you have installed (1813).

You can also follow the releases: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19gqxeeAdUmkwgE0EvH4MlJ7meeDbEHYP-FHYW-PMyOk/edit#gid=5220165...

If you don't want to upgrade, then you can try to contact the memory manufacturer and ask them to help resolve this issue together with AMD and Asustek.

Thanks, downloaded the beta on it.

But it still doesn't work.

I'll order another board and see if it works with it.

my memories are not part of the QVL (different from your case which is registered as supported), and i contacted the manufacturer of my memories and only with time there was an improvement. This problem you are having is serious, Asus has to help.

Thanks, is there no asus support here?

Do I have to explicitly contact an ASUS? If yes, which email/link?

Hi @bertyaprilia

I've moved the thread to ROG Care for attention of customer service. Alternatively, you can contact service for your region directly. Offizieller Support | ASUS Deutschland

Thank you for your help.

Today I got a test CPU R5 7700 and installed it.

Immediately the motherboard went into boot mode and started with the hardware check.

But how can it be that a brand new CPU is already defective?
