no one?

So my main question is this.....

Should all motherboard lights come on and LCD work if only 24 pin and 8pin are attached?   If ONLY Motherboard was plugged in with 0 other components....no cpu, no ram, would it light up?  would LCD be on?

ok...if mobo is plugged in 24 pin and 2x 8 pin  should the START button on the MOBO be illuminated?

is there ANYONE EVEN IN HERE?

Hello @user4201019723
Apologies for any inconvenience caused by the delayed response, and please understand that there may have been a time difference.
Regarding the power cable connections, please refer to page 1-29 and 2.1.5 ATX power connection of the user manual to ensure that both the EATXRWR and EATX12V connectors are correctly connected.

Could you please confirm if the orange light on the top of the motherboard is the Q-LED indicator?
If so, we recommend referring to the guidelines in [Motherboard] ASUS Motherboard Troubleshooting via Q-LED Indicators to attempt resolving the issue.
However, based on your description, it appears that  that cross-testing multiple hardware components and performing minimal hardware tests, including the steps outlined in the [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display, have not resolved the issue.
Therefore, we recommend determining whether the motherboard requires additional inspection and repair.

Thank you.

Thank you for responding.

Unable to get to bios.   I purchased this motherboard used and was not able to test.  I have examined the board very carefully and there is no signs of damage or corrosion.   The board looks great.  Here is the current status:

1.  All items plugged in unable to get to bios.  Fans do not spin.

2.  ATX power is correctly installed with 24 pin + (2) 8 pin connectors.  I have tested additionally with other known power supply, so I do not believe this is the issue

3.  CPU is 10980xe.  Pulled from working machine.

4.  I do not know if BIOS is updated to accept 10980xe.   ???

5.   The only light that is on is a tiny orange light up near the BIOS switch.   I cannot change bios and make the light switch to other bios.   There are no other lights illuminated on the motherboard.

6.  I have tried flashback to update BIOS but I cannot get any lights to come on, so I don't believe it has worked.

7.  I have cleared the CMOS with button, and   I have removed battery for 1 hour and replaced with new Duracell battery.

I thought the board should illuminate if there was power to the board? Is this

Please answer 1 MAIN QUESTION.

will all motherboard lights and LCD come on if 24pin and 8 pin are plugged in?

will lights and lcd come on regardless if not able to get to BIOS????

if BIOS not updated to receive 10980XE or 256GB RAM then will MB LIGHT UP?????  regardless of cpu and ram problem?

should oled come on if lugged in?   I cannot do anything on this board.  its seems DOA.   going to test with 7900x and qvl crucial ram @2666

Hello @user4201019723
If only the power cable and monitor are connected to the motherboard, there will be no boot or display.
If you are unable to enter the BIOS, whether the screen lights up or there are LED indicators depends on your hardware configuration and the specific issue, so this may or may not occur.
Generally, even if the BIOS version and CPU model are not compatible, you might still be able to boot into the BIOS.
However, significant version discrepancies or other factors could prevent booting.
We recommend contacting the place of purchase or arranging for repair and diagnostics.

Thank you.
