When performing "cold boot" or enabling ERP mode for the Asus Rog Maximus Z790 Extreme (with factory preinstalled Intel Wi-Fi AX411) getting "code 10" from Windows device manager. Tried different versions of drivers from manufacture itself (including latest available 22.190.0.4) and from Intel (22.240.0).

Hello, @rufat

May I ask if you have updated the Intel ME to the corresponding version in the BIOS?
For example, the latest BIOS version of the ROG MAXIMUS Z790 EXTREME is 1202, which requires updating the Intel ME to 16.1.27.2176.
Could you please confirm what your current operating system version and build are?
Have you updated not only the Intel WIFI Driver but all the drivers to the latest versions provided by the official website and compatible with your OS?

Thank you.

Due to the local holidays, my responses may be slightly delayed.
For any urgent cases, we recommend reaching out to your local service center for further assistance. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Both Intel ME and BIOS versions are comply with the requirements. All drivers are up to date.

OS: Windows 11 22H2 (10.0.22621 N/A Build 22621)

Hello, @rufat

May I ask if the situation you described happened after any changes were made?
For example, updating the BIOS or connecting an external device
Based on what you've shared, do you notice error messages in the Windows Device Manager while experiencing an issue where the Wi-Fi connection becomes abnormal every time you perform a cold boot, and does this situation not occur during regular restarts without power loss?
Could you kindly verify if there is a yellow exclamation mark on the Wi-Fi driver in the Device Manager? Does the network status in the bottom right corner display "Connected but no internet," or does it show that you are unable to connect to the Wi-Fi entirely? It would be helpful if you could provide a detailed explanation of the Wi-Fi problem you're encountering.
Additionally, please provide the following relevant information to assist us in further assessing and verifying your situation:
- the images of the setting in BIOS, or whether it is the default
- the brand and model name of the CPU, GPU, DRAM (part number as well), and PSU currently installed
- the circumstances and frequency of problem
- contains a video that completely captures the problem's incidence and the surrounding environment

Thank you.

Happened after BIOS has been updated.

After cold boot Windows Device Manager indicates an error with code 10 that device is not functioning properly and have an issue with the power on action. In such state neither WiFi nor Bluetooth devices works. On regular restart and and shutdown operations everything works as expected. As I mentioned previously the only solution in such case is to Disable/Enable Wireless device in BIOS.

There are a few changes made in BIOS.

- XMP 1 profile to reduce memory speed from 5600 to 5200 as current BIOS of motherboard does not have support of 128 GB of RAM on 5600 Mhz.

- Some Aura settings (disable LED on S4 and S5 states)

- Disable USB power delivery on S4 and S5

- Some other minor changes.
