Asus Rog Maximus XI Hero A2 code and black screen

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I change my pc to a new case, the Helios and also change the psu to a Thor 850w . After that I assembled all, I wasn't able to start the pc! everything turns on, passed on the internal check but on Q-Code gives me A2 with a kind orange led turn on, the last one.

I tried many things that already saw here. Start without any IDE connect, start only with the nvme that have OS. Start with no memory or with just. Change the GPU 4060 Ti back to a 1070 Ti. Take out the MOBO battery during 5 minutes. I think tried a couple more things don't recall of them now. The only I didn't try was updating the Bios! So my question here is, does anyone have more suggestion? Before I go with the last resort?

Hello, @Spitfine

Based on the description you shared, we recommend referring to the following two FAQs:
[Motherboard] ASUS motherboard troubleshooting via Q-LED indicators
Please consult the troubleshooting steps corresponding to the Q-LED indicator.
[Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display
Please test with a minimal component configuration to isolate the potential cause.
Please also refer to the motherboard user manual to ensure that all your hardware connections are correct.
If necessary, please attempt a BIOS update.
[Motherboard] How to use USB BIOS FlashBack™?

Thank you.

Hello @Jiaszzz_ROG

Thanks for replying.  I tried some of those options. When I wrote my post I didn't remember everything that had tried before. But anyway, just to say that I finally was able to put everything to work. The weird thing was the black seemed to be related to the cable HDMI. I changed the cable to DisplayPort and started to get image back. Was stuck on BIOS post. Did some changes and voilá, everything is back to normal again! In 25 years of assembling computers this is my first time that I gotten something like this.
Thanks again for the help.
