Asus rog b850-E ethernet download speed

Hi everyone, 

i have the Asus b850-E but i have a problem. The ethernet download speed is very slow. I have the x870e hero and have tested the exact same cable and was able to achieve a speed of 985 mb/s while on the b850-E i can’t even reach 100 mbps. I have reinstalled the drivers multiple times with no change. I have turned off EEE and set the speed in device manager to 1 gbps, 2.5 gbps and 5 gbps and nothing changes at all. The upload speed is totally fine the only problem is the download. For example browsing the internet keeps buffering. Bios is also updated to the latest non beta version and all drivers are installed. Wifi is also turned off. Can someone help me please?

Could you please clarify if this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as a BIOS update or component replacement?
May I ask if the current BIOS version is 1006, and are the driver versions V10.71.312.2024 (for Windows 10 64-bit) or V1126.19.704.2024 (for Windows 11) installed? Could you also provide the current OS version and OS build?
Although you have tested the network cable on other devices and confirmed it works fine, could you please try using a different network cable to connect to the B850-E motherboard? How does the LAN port indicator light behave during the issue?
