ASUS ROG B650E-E doesn't boot after BIOS Update

Hello,

my computer won't start after I updated to the lastest BIOS Version 2613. I used the flash utility button on the back of the mainboard. The green light flashed some time and when it stopped I startet the PC, I took the BIOS USB out of my PC first. Then I got a message on my display, that some BIOS thing is updating. After that the PC restarted with another message BIOS LED is updating (something like that). Then the screen went black and after some time the Q-Code 99 was shown with no change for some time. I shut down the PC and started it again, now with the DRAM LED on and Code 00 nothing happens.

I took of the RAMs tried only using one RAM module i reinstalled the CPU but nothing works. I used the clear CMOS button too.

The PC worked prior to the update fine.

My parts:

ASUS ROG B650E-E

Ryzen 5 7600X

Kingston Fury Beast RGB 6000 with Expo

NVIDIA RTX 4080 FE

Any ideas to solve the issue?

Hello, @JanTie

Thank you for providing the detailed context.
Based on your description, when the AMD motherboard fails to boot and displays Q-Code "00", it indicates an anomaly in detecting the CPU, RAM, or VGA during the boot process, and the DRAM Q-LED indicator lights up as well.
Please first verify that all hardware connections are correct, as per the user manual, and ensure that the installed memory's part number is listed in the ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI QVL, avoid installing RAMs from different kits, and is installed in the recommended slot.

If necessary, you can attempt a bare-board test:
In an insulated environment, remove the chassis, install only the CPU on the motherboard, and use the integrated graphics output, a single RAM module in the DIMM_A2 slot, and the PSU.
Check if the system can boot into BIOS to isolate potential hardware issues.

Thank you.

Hello,

I already contacted the Asus Support Chat, I tried all These things. The Memory is listest under supported, I tried another listed Memory Kit, too. Nothing helped, I send the Mainboard to the Bender for RMA. The exact configuration Worked prior to the Update Fine. I guess the thread can be closed
