Hello. I'm having a problem where my motherboard doesn't want to boot in dual-channel, only when one RAM stick is installed. The RAM is placed in the recommended slots.

The RAM is: DDR5 64GB (2x32) G.Skill, 6000MHz, AMD EXPO, Trident Z5 NEO RGB Black, F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR.

Also, when only one RAM stick is installed and EXPO is enabled, a black screen appears and i have to clear cmos

Hello @joze93

We apologize for the delayed response due to the recent local holiday.
Could you clarify if this issue started right after the PC was first built or after some time, possibly following recent changes like a BIOS update or component replacement?
Also, please confirm your current BIOS version, the installed CPU model, and the memory installation slots.
If you haven’t yet on the latest BIOS version, kindly consider updating it and then clearing CMOS to see if the issue persists.

Regarding memory installation, we recommend referring to the "Recommended memory configurations" section in the user manual.

Additionally, ASUS has verified the motherboard for optimal stability and compatibility with the devices listed in the Memory QVL.
According to the ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI QVL, the F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR RAM is not covered for any series of CPUs.

Therefore, we suggest reviewing the QVL page’s purchasing and installation guide and considering cross-testing with memory listed in the QVL.

For the memory overclocking settings, please refer to the related guidance: Memory Kits - Overclocking and What You May Not Know

Thank you.
