Hi Guys,
Just want to ask the guys here if you have experienced using this motherboard. When the switched is turned on the power brick were the computer is connected the computer suddenly turns on without even pressing the power button on a cold boot (when computer starts for the first time).
Is there any solution to this? Already tried changing the BIOS settings on Restore AC Power Loss to Power Off still the same outcome.

mmm. with bios .1715?
Let try something in a long shot. UNPLUG the network ethernet and disconnect the power bottom from the case and test. If comes on the same outcome, you have another psu and or a PSU tester?

Yup with the latest bios 1715.
The PSU that I'm using is the Corsair RM 1200x Shift which i used for a month to test it in my old 9900KF build but i was not having any starting issue like this.

interesting. did you try the ethernet cable uplug and the power bottom from the case disconnected? why you turn off the psu? if the psu is pn and turn on the pc load normal? i will think this a little since unless you put the cpu and bad luck there is bend pin on the area that turn on the pc not good. let me think. what else you test?

Sorry but what do you mean by "power bottom"? The computer is connected via wifi and not by ethernet cable.
The funny thing is after using the computer for a while then i shutdown the computer, switched off the power brick for let say a minute or two then switched the power brick on again the pc does not turn itself on you have to literlally press the power on button on the case to turn the pc on. It only happens on cold boot.

Hello @Erick137595
Since the system powers on automatically only when the power source is switched on, this behavior may be likely linked to how the motherboard or PSU reacts to standby power.
Please try the following steps to further isolate the cause:
- Disconnect the front panel power switch (PWR SW) cable and check if the system still powers on automatically
- Remove all USB devices and network connections (including Wi-Fi antennas) and test again
- If the issue persists, try setting ErP Ready in BIOS to Enabled (S4+S5) to ensure standby power is fully cut off when the system is shut down
Thank you.

thanks.
Let me give you some wrong a correct way to see this.
1. It is not uncommun the psu have power once the psu is off and stay off for 1 or 5 minutes. In fact the correct way is pc should NOT turn on automatic unless a funcion on bios (WAKE ON LAN) is active.
2. Power supply hold power even if the psu i off for some time. capacitor ever time will discharge over time. in order to make this permanent is to turn off the pc, turn off the psu, revemove the cable, turn on the psu and try to turn on the pc like 5 times. THIS WILL guarantee the psu remove the entire power.
3. COLD BOOT is NOT, I REPEAT, AND READ. COLD BOOT IS NOT a fast process. is not turn off wait a second and on. that is a MYTH. Cold boor comes from servers. mean as is. COLD BOOT is start from cero state NO power. PSU retain power even the switch is off.
4. THE CORRECT process on how this is check is how you mentioned. PC SHOULD NOT TURN ON AUTOMATIC if the wake from lad is off. simple. and computer should turn on normally is the correct functions ON when a power button is press on normal use and ways. NOT AUTOMATIC even wake on lan is off.
There are some tweaks can be done like in wifi makes this done. BUT in testing BY DEFUALT should NOT TURN ON the pc in fact on normally pc i have the power manage OFF or on and this does not turn the computer on. THIS FUNTIONS on wake on lan is ONLY done on bios UNLESS you have a program that does this and overrighe bios functions. BY defaults windows or bios aside mentioned DOES NOT TURN ON.
Some psu does not have switch to turn on the psu. in that case, unplug press 5 times the on of bottom and disgarche the electric power complete.
I have good knolage on this area since i have being working with servers since early days. I do not do this anymore. COLD BOOT is server funtion from the old dell POWEREDGE. and cold boot process takes 20m NOT 5 seconds. in fact the minim timer is 10 minutes.
If you have this happening, check wirring for wrong place plug short or issues on components.

Thanks for the response guys! Somehow i was able to fix this problem by changing the setting on Wake-On-LAN setting in the network adapter via Device Manager and also changing some settings in the Power Options in Windows.
I'm not sure which one solves it but i'm happy that my pc is working normal as it should. Thanks again!
