Hello,
I have been googling and googling for literally days and have finally decided to ask for help.
New build:
ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI II w/ BIOS flash 1301
Intel i7-14700K
Corsair Dominator Titanium 2x24 7200 CL36
Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX™ 4080 SUPER 16GB GDDR6X OC Edition
ASUS ROG Ryujin III
ASUS ROG Thor 1000W Platinum II
Hyte Y60 case
I took my time, made sure all connections were solid. All fans and rbg are on. AIO LCD is on. First boot seemed to be going fine. Had the normal 3x4 reboots on first power on. Then just sat there with a solid white vga and solid yellow bood LED lit.
I have tried a few things from other posts I have read, such as:
Remove and reseat RAM. Test each stick individually.
Clear CMOS
Try MOBO hdmi port
Try diff disp port on GPU
Verified all power cables seated properly
Any help would be much appreciated. It has taken month and months for me to afford this build and of course, now that I have all parts assembled, its not going to play nice.

i would take out the 24 pin motherboard connector then fully seat it again. sometimes that happens if its really not seated all the way.
is your ram seated properly? (in slots a2 +b2 AKA slot 2 and 4 on your motherboard)
also try rolilng back by 1 bios. as 1301 has been known to sadly have issues. or you can download the latest beta bios 1402.

Downgraded to BIOS 1202, no change.
Reseated 24 pin at mobo and psu, no change.
Verified RAM installed in A2/B2, no change.

try reseating the cpu. sometimes overtightening the aio cooler can actually cause more issues.

Hi @thejms
1. As suggested remount CPU. Remove If using a third-party contact frame, remove and use the stock retention bracket.
2. Remove any power extension cables or VGA riser cables if using one.
3. Insert one memory module into slot A2.

I did install an aftermarket contact frame. How would this cause this issue? Also, I did read elsewhere that overtightening the AIO can cause issues so I loosened each nut about a 1/4 of a turn. I did not use any aftermarket cables or extentions. Only the cables that came with the PSU. I tried to use one stick of RAM, I tried both sticks seperately, and I did use slot A2

Most contact frames on the market have particular torque settings. If overtightened they can impede signal quality.
