tldr, rgb setting messed up, noticed armoury crate can't detect anything. Tried reinstall it, it works fine, but crashes once it updated to 5.7.9.0.

so why not use old version? well it prompt you to update it if you want to access mobo setting to tweak it

edit, to give some contexts, im using b550-a strix

Hello, @johndoe1545

May I ask if the situation you described happened after any changes were made? For example, updating the BIOS or connecting an external device
When encountering this problem, have you ensured that all items within the Armoury Crate update center are fully updated?
Could you please verify the following information and help in recording and providing the relevant logs?
- For log operation steps, please refer to "Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)"
While recording the log, please simultaneously capture a video documenting the steps you take and situations where accessing the settings page is not possible.
If there are error prompts or instances where the loading circle screen occurs, kindly also share screenshots.
After recording the log and video, please upload them to the cloud, approve access, and PM me the link.
- the content of the setting in BIOS (or whether it is the default)
- the brand and model name of the CPU, DRAM, GPU, and PSU currently installed
- the OS version and OS build
- Armoury Crate version and a screen shot of the Armoury Crate Update Center
Please help compile the above information and I will forward it to the relevant departments for further investigation.

Thank you.

Thank you for providing the steps.
However, could you please also help in recording logs as the guide I inquired about earlier?

Providing the Armoury Crate log will be helpful for analyzing and describing the issue.
Please follow the instructions in the link to follow the steps that reproduce the problem and record the log.

Thank you.
