Motherboard: ROG Strix Z790-A Gaming WiFi II
Graphics card: ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X White OC Edition
Computer reformatted with fresh install of Windows 11, fully updated.
Nvidia drivers up to date.
Motherboard Firmware update to date.
Brand new install of Armoury Crate.
Motherboard and Graphics Card not detected, cannot configure RGB lighting.
Serial numbers of both devices registered.
On the main dash board showing the motherboard, when clicking on the picture of the motherboard it comes up "You must first update your device to continue"
It then attempts to search for an update and doesn't find anything and instead says everything is update to date and on the list of things that are up to date is just the armoury crate software, aura, and sdks.
On the devices tab it says no devices detected.
On the aura tab... It shows my Logitech G560 Speakers (of which its dedicated software G Hub isnt installed yet)
And it also detected my Philips Hue Hub on the network.
Why is it that Armoury Crate is detecting everything But ASUS hardware?

Problem is resolved
My "Turzx 8.8 usb screen" was preventing Armoury Crate from detecting the Motherboard and Graphics Card.
When I first built the PC 2 years ago I didn't have the screen until few months later.

Hello @Naraus
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please clarify if this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as a BIOS update or component replacement? Have all items listed under the Armoury Crate Update Center been successfully updated?
Please also try using the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool to remove the current installation, then reinstall it from the official support page? After reinstalling, complete all updates again and reboot the system to see if the hardware detection issue improves.
If the issue persists, please help us by providing the following information:
- What is your current BIOS version? If it is not the latest, please update it, clear CMOS, and check again.
Please share images of the BIOS > Main page, including the "LED EC Version" information.
- Record and provide the Armoury Crate log for our further review. For instructions, please refer to “Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)”. Make sure to enable the “Record Log” option and reproduce the issue (e.g., the device not being recognized on the “Device” page) before collecting the log, as well as record a video at the same time to help us better correlate the log data with the actual behavior.
- The PSU, RAM model and part number, and two .txt files generated in your Windows system via the steps below:
1) Press WIN + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog, and type dxdiag → click OK.
2) Click Save All Information and select a save location → click Save.
3) Repeat the same steps with msinfo32 to generate the second file.
Please upload the above files to a cloud storage service, grant access permissions, and share the link with us.
Thank you.
