Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with Armoury Crate on my desktop PC. The software automatically changes my Windows power plan to its own custom settings, even after I manually select a different power plan or delete the Armoury Crate-created plan. It keeps recreating its own power plan and setting it as the default.
I have tried the following solutions, but none of them worked:
Manually changing the power plan in Windows settings.
Deleting the Armoury Crate-created power plan.
Despite these actions, Armoury Crate still overrides my chosen power plan. I would like to keep my own power settings without Armoury Crate interfering.
Is there a way to completely stop Armoury Crate from changing the power plan? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I don't have a solution, but I'm in the same boat as you with my ROG Zephyrus G16 laptop. It appears to be Armoury Crate causing the issue based on my Windows Event Logs. Very annoying.

Hello @SamwiseGamgee
Thank you for reaching out to us, and sorry for any inconvenience caused by the delayed response.
May I confirm whether the motherboard model and related hardware you are currently using are the same as those mentioned in your previous thread?
Did the issue you described occur after the initial installation of Armoury Crate, or did it begin following a recent update? Could you please clarify how you determined that Armoury Crate had modified the power plan settings? Additionally, what specific custom settings have been configured within Armoury Crate?
To help us further investigate the issue, please provide the following information:
- The BIOS version, contents of manual settings, the OS version, and OS build
- The brand and model name of the CPU, DRAM, GPU, and PSU currently installed
- Refer to "Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)" and record Armoury crate logs for us to verify further
Please ensure that you have confirmed and checked the "Record Log" option before proceeding with the steps to replicate the issue, such as the unsuccessful updating steps. And record a video simultaneously and provide it to us, allowing us to better correlate the log with the actual scenario.
After recording the log, please upload it to the cloud, approve access, and PM me the link.
Thank you.
