I had already opened a thread for this problem, but there hasn't been any support from Asus so far.
Armoury Crate "forgets" the RGB hardware it has already detected while using the PC. As a result, previously configured AuraSync profiles are no longer applied.
When checking the RGB hardware, it looks like this:
In my case, I use Aura Sync "SMART", which changes the RGB color based on the CPU temperature.
As soon as Armoury Crate no longer recognizes the AuraSync hardware, and specifically the motherboard, the RGB color no longer changes based on the CPU temperature.
Even setting "SMART" again in AuraSync no longer works and ends in the following loop:
However, there is no error message in the reliability history.
The only workaround is to either restart the "ASUS AURA SYNC lighting service" or reboot the PC.
Armoury Crate recognizes the motherboard and other existing hardware again:
AuraSync "SMART" is working again:
This doesn't last long, however, because as I continue to use the PC, Armoury Crate again "forgets" the RGB hardware, especially the motherboard.
The problem has existed since April 28, 2025, when version 6.1.18.0 was first offered to me as an update, which gave rise to my other thread.
I have uninstalled Armoury Crate several times using the Uninstaller Tool 2.2.16.0 (previously 2.2.15.0), restarted the PC, and reinstalled it using the Installer Tool 3.3.1.0 (Version 6.1.13.0 was installed until May 20, 2025).
I first installed version 6.1.13.0, and then version 6.1.18.0 as an update.
The problem has recurred and is reproducible.
Windows and everything else has already been completely reinstalled, but as soon as Armoury Crate version 6.1.18.0 is installed, Armoury Crate again "forgets" the RGB hardware or suddenly can't find it anymore.
I can't figure out why this happens, because it doesn't happen with version 6.1.13.0.
My hardware is visible in my signature.
UEFI is currently: 3001 (But the problem also existed with UEFI 2801)
Windows 11 24H2 Build 26100.4061 (the problem has also existed since 26100.3915)
All drivers are up to date.
Armoury Crate is also up to date:

The problem here is clearly with ArmouryCrate 6.1.18.0 and its plugins, as even reinstalling Windows didn't improve the situation.
EDIT:
I uninstalled Armoury Crate for the umpteenth time, this time using the latest UninstallerTool 2.2.16.0.
I restarted my PC and used the latest InstallerTool 3.3.1.0 (since May 21, 2025, it directly installs 6.1.18.0).
During the reinstallation, this error message appeared:
So I used the UninstallerTool 2.2.16.0 repeatedly and uninstalled everything again.
I restarted my PC and tried a clean install.
The same error message appeared.
This time, I did NOT use the UninstallerTool again (as shown in the screenshot), but instead re-ran the InstallerTool, and the installation of 6.1.18.0 was successful.
Everything was set up, and after some time (about an hour) and repeated use of ArmouryCrate, the motherboard was suddenly no longer found when I clicked on "Motherboard Settings" via "Dashboard" or selected "Motherboard" via "Devices".
At first, it took forever for the error message H-5001 to appear:
My conclusion now is: ArmouryCrate version 6.1.18.0 is faulty.
Even reinstalling Windows 11 doesn't improve the problem. I've done this several times in the last few weeks, most recently on May 2, 2025. This proves, in my opinion, that the problem isn't with the Windows installation. Especially since everything works permanently with version 6.1.13.0.
As an end user, I can't perform any further tests before Asus finally begins investigating the error.
I've now written two threads on this topic and hope that a solution will be found.
I will now roll back to version 6.1.13.0 using the system backup I created before the current update to version 6.1.18.0, as this is no longer possible with the current installation tools as of May 21, 2025.
Asus, please fix this bug!
I also have several error logs here if you need them.
Edit:
Here's the log file generated from ArmouryCrate version 6.1.18.0, in case Asus takes another look:

The update to version 6.2.7.0 has finally fixed the bugs described here.😊

Hello Asus,
I've opened this second thread here because I haven't received any help in the first thread and was only referred to this part of the forum.
But apparently that doesn't help either.
Armoury Crate 6.1.18.0 forgets the hardware initially detected while the PC is running, and thus, for example, the "Smart" setting in AuraSync is no longer usable, as the RGB colors no longer change based on the CPU temperature, as I described here and in the first thread.
So far, my only option to use this RGB control has been to downgrade to version 6.1.13.0.
And I'm not the only one with this problem.
When can we hope for a solution?
