Armory Crate causing 0d error on restart

Hello, i got a new pc build, I'll send the specs below.

I started facing the 0d error only when i restart the computer and after some tests and formats, I may have found the possible cause for it.

When i did a fresh system install, i could install some drivers and windows update and restart the machine without any issue but, when i installed the full version of armory crate, every time i restart the computer i get the 0d error and, one of my memory stick gets the rgb lights off.

I have the bios in version 2007

Motherboard x670e-e gaming wifi

Asus 4080 super rog strix

Kingston 2x 32gb fury beast memory ram 5600mhz

Ryzen 9 7900x3d

I already tried 1 or 2 memory stick and also changing the place for the memories. Only booted on a2 b2.

I'm waiting a new pack of memories to arrive to do a new test but i wanted to post this here because the system started showing 0d error immediate after installing armory crate full

Hi @Jiaszzz_ROG

After super long testing it seems not to be Armoury Crate in my case.
It seems to have been just a super stupid coincidence.

It seems to be that my RAM or the CPU is the troublemaker
New RAM Kit is on its way for testing since both of my "old" Kits were "affected" by the voltage issue so maybe both have some issue.
If the new Kit wont help I will probably sit it out and replace the CPU with the upcoming 9950X3D

I am super sorry that I wasted your time

Hello @lSonicXl

Building an open-platform PC can indeed require some time for troubleshooting.
We would recommend cross-testing with different components to further isolate potential hardware issues.
I'm glad you were able to pinpoint the problem.
If you encounter any further difficulties or have any concerns, please feel free to start another discussion thread or PM me anytime.

Thank you.

As the local holiday is ongoing, there may be further delays in responses.
We appreciate your patience in advance.

Just a quick information.
I have figured out that in my case MSI Afterburner 3.6.6. Beta 3 is to blame.
After long testing I figured out that it is the root cause for my 0d errors on reboots.

With 3.6.5 everything is working fine

Reporting issue with 0d code after having AC installed as well, though I’m not really sure it’s chipset driver or the AC itself.

So I have the x670E-E running on 7950x3D and 2xG skill z5 32GB. I first experienced 00 and 0d almost every other reboot. Thinking it was the hardware, I’ve had the motherboard and CPU replaced, clean reinstalled windows 11. It ran very smoothly (over a dozen restarts without any code). But after having AC installed and update all drivers, the 0d code is now back. I have another pair of RAM sticks arriving tomorrow, but in the mean time, I’m trying to reinstall Windows without getting AC this time. Will report back it the issue is fixed.

Form received but please record a log, it will continue to record even after a reboot. Thanks.
