Armory Crate cant install drivers for my Components and change RGB

Hello

I have been trying to get the Armory Crate to run for some time now. My biggest problem is that my RGB has been reset out of nowhere while the PC was running. When I tried to reset the RGB for the motherboard and GPU I was greeted by the following error message.

After some research I decided to uninstall the Armory Crate with the uninstall tool. Already during this process I got an error message. So I tried again, now the uninstall worked. However, when installing Armory Crate, I was again greeted by the Crash Reporter.

After that i restarted my PC and uninstalled and installed Armory crate again. During the installation the same thing happened as before. This happened two more times.

On the next installation attempt I got the error message 502 which I clicked away after doing some research on the forum.

Once in the software, the first thing it asked me to do was to make updates in the Update Center. This worked fine at first, until I get to the component drivers that seem important to me. These just will not instll under any circumstances, see picture:

Hello @noah34

Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for the delayed response due to a public holiday in our region and any inconvenience this may have caused.
Could you please clarify if this issue occurred after the PC was first built or after using it for some time and occurred following any recent changes, such as Windows update or component replacement?

Considering that using the uninstall tool and reinstalling multiple times has not resolved the issue, could you you help record and provide the relevant logs for us to verify further?
For log operation steps, please refer to "Q5: What is App Diagnostics? (New Feature)" and ensure that you have confirmed and checked the "Record Log" option before proceeding with the steps to replicate the issue, such as the unsuccessful updating steps.
And kindly record a video simultaneously and provide it to us, allowing us to better correlate the log with the actual scenario.
After recording the log, please upload it to the cloud and approve access before sharing the link.

Meanwhile, please confirm the requested information below as well:
- the contents of BIOS settings (or whether they are default)
- the brand and model name of the CPU, DRAM, GPU, and PSU currently installed
- the OS version and OS build
Please help compile the above information and I will forward it to the relevant departments for further investigation.

Additionally, based on the described scenario, the issue may be related to an incomplete installation. If you are willing, you may try resetting the system while keeping your files and then check again to see if Armoury Crate can be installed properly.

Thank you.

Is there a possibility that i can install that without the Armory crate?

Hi @Jiaszzz_ROG

Thank you for your response. I’ve found a solution—the program works properly on my main/admin account. It seems the issue was related to Windows UAC settings. Can't believe I didn't try that earlier!

Thanks again for your help!
