Hello @Chapell
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Could you please confirm the model of the motherboard, such as the ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING, along with the BIOS, OS versions you're currently using and if they have been up-to-date?
May I ask whether this issue began right after the PC was first built, or if it occurred after using it for some time, possibly following recent changes such as a Windows update or component replacement?
We recommend following the steps in this thread and removing the audio drivers before reinstalling according to the instructions provided in [Motherboard] How to install motherboard drivers and utilities?
Thank you.

strix b550F gaming, OS version is up to date
the issue begun on August 12 monday a month or so after the purchase/built
been there, done that and come up into a conclusion for a faulty hardware unless there was an unknown bug trying to suppressed it virtually. was wondering what it might be and what could be done before sending it back to the store.

Hello @Chapell
Could you please provide more detailed information about the troubleshooting steps you have already attempted?
Does this include resetting the system and reinstalling the drivers as described in the provided link?
If the issue persists, please help confirm the following details to help us better understand your situation:
- the current BIOS version, the image of BIOS main-page, and all the manually adjusting items in BIOS
- the brand and model name of the CPU, GPU, RAM (part number and installed slots as well), SSD/HDD, and PSU currently installed
- the OS version and OS build
- Armoury Crate version and a screen shot of the Armoury Crate Update Center
- the circumstances and frequency of the problem
- a complete recording showing the confirmation of audio devices and driver versions in Device Manager after booting, any error messages that appear when clicking on Sonic Studio 3, and the results of cross-testing different audio output devices connected to the rear panel to check for effective audio output
Thank you.

as much as i wanted to ask chatgpt but, i tried all the possible solutions known to humankind and did the most vile thing one could ever imagine
that is re-writing system 32 and got to the point where i could say its the onboard sound supreme fx, since the USB port are all working including usb port cable headphones but not wireless nor Bluetooth.

Hi @Chapell I am sorry to hear about your issues.
Can you go back into Device Manager that you have opened in your screenshot and RIGHT CLICK on your computer name and choose Scan for Hardware Changes.
Do you see your Audio Device that is lost being shown here? Can you also confirm that in BIOS you have not accidentally turned off Audio Device?

Hi @Chapell I am sorry I was not clear earlier.
In Device Manager when you right (like you did), you then need to select Scan for hardware changes from the popup menu. This will refresh your Device Manager window where Windows will run a fresh device scan. If your lost device is found then under Sound, Video and Game Controllers you should see your missing Realtek Audio hardware.
Please get that a try and let us know.

hi, that is currently the problem. it cannot detect any existing/pre-installed software automatically (including INF files) nor identify any audio hardware devices other then USB port audio device. it stop working after a month and that's it. i have two choices
buy a soundcard which is likely what they really wanted me to do in the first place or send it back to the factory which is take many moons to get back.
edit: added choices cos i know the hustle

Hi @Chapell if you have not already tried it as it is not mentioned by you so far, clear your CMOS once. If the clear CMOS is successful then the first boot after that will show a message to press F1 to go into BIOS. Once in BIOS, do not change anything and simply choose SAVE and EXIT. Then boot into Windows. Once in Windows try the above procedure to Scan for Hardware changes. Maybe this will do the trick for you. Good luck!
