AI Suite 3 not available for ROG MAXIMUS X CODE

Hello, I would like to inform you that AI Suite 3 is not available on the download page for the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE motherboard (see the link), in these years (since I bought it back in 2018) I have always taken AI Suite 3 from the web, from unofficial sites, but since I had to format the PC, I would like to have it from an official channel.

https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-maximus/rog-maximus-x-code-model/helpdesk_download/

I hope for your support soon because without AI Suite 3 I cannot control the fans, which being very powerful make a lot of noise.

P.S. I have read many comments on the web from people who cannot find AI Suite 3 on the download page of their motherboards, why doesn't ASUS give everyone AI Suite 3?

Hello @vin24

Could you please confirm your current OS version?
We recommend downloading AI Suite 3 under the Windows 10 category> Software and Utility in the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE support page.

For download and installation instructions, please refer to [Motherboard] AI Suite 3/AI Suite 3 Cleaner - Introduction and troubleshooting.
Regarding the fan noise, could you clarify if it’s coming from the chassis fan, CPU fan, or water cooling fan

Does this issue only occur under specific conditions, such as high-power, heavy-load scenarios, or does it happen as soon as you power on the system?
Kindly check the issue again after formatting the system.

Thank you.

Hello @vin24

When the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE was initially released, Windows 11 had not yet been launched, so the supported operating system listed on the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE specifications page was only Windows 10.

After the release of Windows 11, we published the ASUS Motherboards Ready for Windows 11 list, which includes the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE.
However, we have confirmed that the AI Suite 3 software does not support Windows 11 for the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE, which is why it is not listed under the Windows 11 OS category on the official ROG MAXIMUS X CODE website.
Additionally, if you install software from third-party websites, we cannot guarantee its compatibility or stability.

Kindly install the latest version, AI Suite 3 Version 3.00.51, under the Windows 10 category released on April 17, 2019 if needed.

Thank you.

Ok I'll install the latest version.

Anyway let me disagree (and I'll conclude) on the choice to no longer support
AI Suite 3 for the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE with Windows 11, in the end we are talking about a relatively young motherboard, which in my opinion should be able to access those essential software in its most updated form possible.

And since I have tested first-hand that AI Suite 3 (downloaded from unofficial sources) for the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE with Windows 11 works perfectly, this alleged "incompatibility" is actually nothing more than an excuse to not explicitly admit that ASUS has decided to stop supporting their older motherboards, because AI Suite 3 supports (obviously) all the new motherboards that are sold natively with Windows 11 today, so it's simply a matter of eliminating support for older motherboards, which mine is about 6 years old, so it's not even as old as it might seem.

But I currently have Windows 11 x64, why is there no Al Suite 3 on the Windows 11 page?

Also on the Windows 10 page I saw that there are two versions of Al Suite 3, which one should I download?

The fan noise is related to the fact that without AI Suite 3 the fans that are inside my PC (CPU, and the whole PC) often travel at maximum speed, and since they are Noctua Industrial fans they make a lot of noise, but this is physiological, there is nothing that is not working.

I just need to be able to download the correct version of Al Suite 3 that is not on the Windows 11 download page.

what they actually use is Fan Xpert to control the fans accordingly.

But that also works with ArmouryCrate, which FanXpert has integrated.

Otherwise, just test AISuite3 from a different motherboard. It should work just as well, but Fan Xpert is not integrated because it now comes from ArmouryCrate.

Of course, if you want Fan Xpert via AISuite3, then only older versions (v. 3.00.51 or older) will work, as can be seen in the download area of your motherboard when you select Windows 10.

I followed your advice in the hope that FanXpert would be integrated into ArmouryCrate, but as you can see it is not.

Hello @vin24

After consulting with the relevant department, we can confirm that the ROG MAXIMUS X CODE does not support AI Suite 3 on Windows 11, and Armoury Crate does not support the FanXpert feature for ROG MAXIMUS X CODE as well.

Regarding the fan issue, could you clarify which fan is making a loud noise, such as the CPU fan or the chassis fan?
Does the noise occur only in specific situations, such as after running certain software or games for 30 minutes or during heavy loads?
For further details, please refer to [Windows 11/10] Troubleshooting - Overheating and Fan issues.

Thank you.

Forgive my arrogance, but either you don't know what you're talking about in my opinion or you're acting in bad faith, because you have no desire to release an update for AI Suite 3 on my motherboard for Windows 11 too, and so you use the fact that it's not technically compatible as an excuse (FALSE), I've always used AI Suite 3 on Windows 11, and I've never had any problems, but I've always had to download it from unofficial sources, and this time I wanted to download it from the official website, the specific version for Windows 11, but you obviously have no interest in helping me, congratulations on your customer support.

It will mean that I'll have to download it from the page for Windows 10 (which I imagine will also work very well for Windows 11), can you at least tell me which of the four versions of AI Suite 3 for Windows 10 I should download between these versions?

1) 3.00.51
2) 3.00.50
3) 3.00.13
4) 3.00.01

I guess I have to choose the most recent one, but if you left the oldest one there must be a reason.

The "fan problem" is actually not a problem, as it is 8 very very very powerful fans (Noctua NF-A14 iPPC-3000 PWM) and therefore also very very noisy, with which I have completely filled the PC, and since the PC has just been formatted I need a software to do the fan tuning (I have an Intel Core i7 8700K processor therefore designed for overclocking) to calibrate them to the right speed, there is nothing wrong with all this, and for this I need the Fan Xpert software which is found inside AI Suite 3.

It is therefore a very simple fan tuning operation that is done every time you format the operating system from scratch, because otherwise the fans always travel at maximum speed
