AEMP Profile Missing – ROG STRIX Z890-I + G.SKILL DDR5 8400 CL40

Hi everyone,

I’m using a G.SKILL DDR5 48GB (2x24GB) 8400MHz CL40 TR5CK (F5-8400C4052G24GX2-TZ5CRK) kit on my ROG STRIX Z890-I GAMING WIFI motherboard. However, I can’t find the AEMP option in the BIOS—only XMP profiles are available.

BIOS is updated to the latest version
Memory is installed in the correct slots
XMP profiles appear, but no AEMP option
Is this expected behavior for this memory kit, or is there something I need to enable to get AEMP working?

Hello @Zuluch 

Upon confirmation, the [AEMP II / AEMP III] option will only appear when the system detects that the installed memory does not include any preconfigured overclocking profiles. In other words, if the memory modules currently installed already support an XMP profile, the AEMP option will not be displayed.
You may also refer to the informational note shown at the bottom of the screen when selecting the Ai Overclock Tuner option in the BIOS for further guidance:
