I recently added a second M.2 to my build to help with capacity and run better, as I was having issues with my printers not working whilst running games, but ever since I added the second M.2 my computer feels slower, applications being slow and sticky.

I recently added a second M.2 to my build to help with capacity and run better, as I was having issues with my printers not working whilst running games, but ever since I added the second M.2 my computer feels slower, applications being slow and sticky. not slowing my PC.

I have run all the diagnostics on the WD dashboard and everything is fine, I deleted temp files etc but nothing seems to be working.

Any advice would be great!

Hello, @buckwee

Due to the ongoing local holidays in our area, my response time may experience delays.
I apologize for any inconvenience the delayed replies may have caused.
Regarding the slow system performance, please first refer to the troubleshooting steps outlined in [Windows 11/10] Troubleshooting - System is running slowly to diagnose and address the issue.
Could you clarify if your M.2 is connected using any adapter? If you remove the second M.2, does it resolve the slow performance issue?
What is the current BIOS version, and if updating to the latest BIOS version released on January 8, 2024 (3405) helps address the problem?
Could you provide details about the RAM brand, model, and part number currently installed, and have you considered upgrading your RAM to potentially improve performance?

Thank you.

sharing complete hardware info & software config details will help us better understand the issue 🙂
