Hello @emkdrl07

EXPO Tweaked uses tighter parameters and not all CPUs / memory kits will remain stable depending on the condition of the overclock.
Auto rules can often change to try and accommodate more CPUs, or AMD microcode may impact stability. Usually, the overclock was likely already conditional on the previous BIOS.

Note that both EXPO II and EXPO Tweaked are not verified by ASUS or the memory vendor when validating. EXPO I is the profile validated by both the memory vendor and ASUS for the QVL. As EXPO is overclocking assurances can't be made due to variance between parts when running the system outside of specification.

Hello Silen_Scone,

when I turned on the computer today, it did not reboot. I cannot use any EXPO profile. Please solve this problem as soon as possible. 2403 BIOS is not stable at all.

Hi @emkdrl07

1. Please make sure not to use old CMO BIOS file.

2. "Solving" overclocking issues isn't something you can easily quantify. If you were stable on an older AGESA or UEFI, revert to this or tune the system manually. As previously stated, EXPO II offers the most conservative timings.

Hi, @Silent_Scone

1. I sure use current CMO BIOS file.

2. How can i revert to BIOS v2308?

What does current CMO bios file mean? Did you create a new profile? My comment was pertaining to using an older CMO file from an older BIOS on 2403.

Use USB Flashback to rollback to 2308.

Hi @Silent_Scone

When I say current CMOS file, I mean the current BIOS file. This is not the first time I have updated the BIOS, I have updated the BIOS many times before. I did not do anything different. Let me tell you what I did.

-I downloaded the BIOS file from Asus' website as a rar file.

-I extracted this BIOS file to a flash drive.

-Then I used BIOSRenamer and this process changed the BIOS file name to CX670EH.CAP.

-Then I updated the BIOS with this flash drive as usual.

I did not understand what you meant by old CMOS.

Hello

i am still on 1415 Bios on x670e Crosshair Hero

here is my setup:

AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D - ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO - SAPPHIRE NITRO+ RADEON RX 7900 XTX VAPOR-X 24GB GDDR6 - G.SKILL 64GB (2*32GB) 6000Mhz CL30 HYNIX A-DIE RGB (F5-6000J3040G32GX1-TZ5NR) - SAMSUNG 990 PRO 2TB NVMe M.2

is it safe with this ram to update to 2403?

since month i am reading that every new BIOS is not good or the older ones are better?!

do i get any benefit when i update from 1415 to 2403?

user emkdrl07 has the 32GB Kit from G.Skill and i have the 64GB Kit

so i guess it wont be a good idea to update or?

atm my system ist stable with expo1 and BCLK2 at 103 (with X3D OC Profile)

i dont want to update and then i have this mess like emkdrl07

does the new Agesa improvements only benefit to people with the newer 48GB or 96GB Kits? or also the "older" 32GB/64GB Kits?

dont know what to do right now ?! ....

thanks and BR

Hello

i updated to 2403 my asus proart x670e bios, and now can't go into bios ASUS EZ mode because it keeps resetting after asus logo, wher i have to press F2 or del. I've already tried to put a direct USB and restore to old biso doesn't help. I have a feeling that something was wrong with loading the bios. any other suggestions on what i can do before i throw the motherboard in the trash?

thanks for your help
