I've had some people say that undervolting may have been locked in a recent bios update, because not so long ago I was able to get a small undervolt, mind you I had to use throttlestop rather than the bios.
Now throttlestop and the bios don't work at all, I literally can't undervolt no matter how tiny the actual undervolt is. My system hangs immediately and I get a BSOD with a timing error.
I've tried with and without XMP, multiple sets of ram but no dice.
This chip is such a nightmare. 😒

Hi @onlyoneeon,
Depending on the motherboard and BIOS revision you may be able to select 104 microcode. Note that the 690-P is not an ROG product, so some features may not be available.

Hello @onlyoneeon
The BIOS settings can vary depending on the motherboard, BIOS version, and installed hardware components.
If the motherboard does not support specific features, attempting to configure settings through software may lead to stability issues, such as blue screens or failure to boot.
Meanwhile, the ROG forum is specifically for discussions related to the ROG or TUF gaming series products.
If you have inquiries regarding non-gaming series motherboards, we recommend posting your discussion on Zentalk>Motherboard.
Thank you.
