XG27AQDMG Instant image retention

I’ve had this monitor for over a month and I’ve been very pleased with it, however I stopped using it for a few days and when I turned it on today it booted up to a gray screen and terrible image retention of the ASUS start up logo that only lasts a few seconds, I did a pixel cleaning and it fixed it but then came right back after leaving it on my desktop for a few seconds and immediately retains my desktop wallpaper. I’ve taken very good care of the monitor, always turning it off whenever I have to leave a static image in place. It’s never had any image retention issues until now

Have you updated to the latest firmware?

Just updated from 102 to 104 BIOS, ran one more pixel clean and the issue seems to be fixed for now.
