I recently bought this monitor and it has just been frustration all around. The monitor is connected through display port. I have tested it with the cable it came with and some other high quality display port cables. I have tested it on multiple other devices. I have another LG 34 inch UW monitor that works flawlessly.
The monitor just restarts several times. Most times it fails to detect that the PC is turned on. On some occassions when the PC goes to sleep, the monitor backlight stays on.
The menu on the monitor only works when there is signal. I hope this not by design and just an issue with my monitor.
All issues can be temporarely fixed by powercycling the monitor. I should have returned this within the 30 days but i was hoping a firmware fix would appear as this is a rather new product.
