Hi
I bought an ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDNG and it's been giving me a headache to say the least.
It's completely stuck in Racing Mode. I can't select anything else using the monitor.
1) I have installed DisplayWidgetCenter. And when I click srgb nothing happens. It just resets back to Racing mode.

Pic 2:
* I installed Armoury Crate...
Apparently I have no devices...
But under User center I seem to have a monitor.... (Or whatever it's called in English... I can't switch Armory Create to English so I can post properly even).
BIG PROBLEM 2:
Monitor asks me to run a cleaning thing for 6 minutes every 2 day. I have used the monitor about 50h in total and it has asked me to run that program 3 times now. Can't be normal.
Weird problem 3:
Whenever I'm in a game and want to alt+tab back quick to check something. The cursor turns into some grey Windows 3.11 mouse cursor and everything lags as hell with 1 fps on the cursor so it's impossible to click things, so you have to quit the game to check the weather or click something.
My monitor is up to date and I have reinstalled everything many more times than necessary...
Help me please! This is far from Plug'N'Play......

SOLUTION:
Here's the short version on how I solved it:
I turned OFF HDR in the Windows 11 Display Settings:
* Reinstalled NVidia Drivers since I had uninstalled them. Might not be necessary to do that.
And now it seems to work with an amazing image quality! 🙂
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The slightly longer version how I got there:
After doing the obvious as uninstalling, reinstalling and updating firmware on the monitor:
* I went into BIOS just for it to pause and not load Windows 11. And there I was able to select Game
* At this point I had no NVidia drivers installed.
* I booted Windows and it switched back to Racing Mode and again I was unable to select "GameVisual"
* I tried to start "DisplayWidget Center" and it looked like this:
* Reinstalled it. And it was back to the original problem. So if you uninstall NVidia drivers, DisplayWidget Center will completely crash and you won't know until you start it up.
* And again the solution is to disable Windows inbuilt HDR thing that seems to overpower everything the monitor does and cause problems.

Hi @lasseedsvik ,
Regarding the display issue you are currently experiencing, to accurately diagnose the problem, we recommend that you send your monitor to an official ASUS service center for thorough inspection. Our professional technicians will be happy to assist you.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Thanks for reply. I have reported it. I had to send the packaging to recycling since it was taking up my place. So hopefully they will provide with suitable packaging.
ALSO:
It seems like .JPEG is not acceptable as a file extension format when contacting the service dealer. Pretty sure .JPG works. But could be an issue with capital letters which most phones use. Or it's because it's .JPEG isn't listed.

There is a 90% chance it's my fault. So I would like to elaborate on it some more before I send my monitor away and have to wait for a long time only to discover I did something silly.
I'm 90% sure I was able to select other modes than "game mode" when I got the monitor. At least I'm pretty sure the 2 options were greyed out like it is now.
Is there some things I could try before having to send it to repair?

Also... 5% of me thinks it might be because I'm not 100% gamer so I switched immediately to sRGB for most color accuracy and that's the reason my unknown magic combination of doom caused this to bug out. So if you wanna try to bug it out, try get a monitor and switch to sRGB mode and then play with the contrast and brightness some and see if it happens to you too. That's all I remember doing before it bugged out.
