After going through lots of posts about possible reasons why the PG32UCDP Monitor does not charge or connect to peripherals for Mac mini M4 Pro, is it possible that the ports are faulty? The monitor is connected via the USB-C port. I have changed the settings on the monitor for charging and I do not use KVM. Any suggestions? Should I return the monitor to where purchased and exchange?

After rereading the product I have solved the issue. "USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B. This port is for connection with a USB upstream cable. The connection enables the USB ports on the monitor." Now the ports are working.
