I’m experiencing a strange image bug on my Rog XG27UQ monitor.
Depending on where I look in a game and often in the same spot in game, the top-right quarter of my screen shows color distortion. This only happens in 4K; if I switch to FHD, the issue disappears.
Sometimes it’s a gray contrast issue, other times it’s random colors. Here’s a video (taken with my phone): https://youtu.be/IVAOdFSDBto
I don’t encounter this bug in every game, but what’s really odd is that it depends on how I orient the in-game camera.
Because of this, I don’t think it’s a hardware issue with the monitor. I also upgraded my GPU a few months ago (EVGA RTX 3080ti → Asus Astral 5080), but the problem persists.
I’ve cleaned the drivers with DDU, reset the monitor settings, and disabled all Asus features.
