I have a ASUS 27" ROG Swift PG27AQDM OLED QHD 240 Hz for 6 months now, and it seems the display stopped working today during a regular gaming session, nothing special happened before, it just turned black:
- My other screen works fine
- The screen is fully black
- Opening display menus with the buttons doesn't show, no reaction
- The screen is identified by the graphics card and is shown in windows and nvidia control panel
- I tried switching to another power supply.
- I tried switching to another display port cable.
- I tried changing Display port on the graphics card, nothing. While my other monitor works fine on both ports.
Is the display just dead and need replacement? Is there anything I can do to trouble shoot. I'm thinking since it's showing on Windows and Nvidia, and windows reacts to plugging it in - it should get power and everything. But since even not the display On-Screen menu works it would be the actual displaying that is broken?
Any help before I send it back to the vendor for replacement?

Yes, I found the power button (of course).
I've decided to send it back and claim my warranty as I don't see any problems on my side and the screen probably is defect

Hello DanielThomas
Check if you're able to turn the monitor on and off.
Behind the ROG logo there are 3 buttons.
1) Input Select button (Left)
2) Menu button (Middle)
3) Power button (Right)
Try pressing the power button, it's the button to the right of the Menu button. You can't feel the button but it's there.
Do you get power, is the ROG logo lighting up?

No, there is nothing indicating that the power is on or off.
The ROG logo light I have turned off since before, so I can't see if there is actually power getting to the screen. Unless there is a way to reset to factory defaults without seeing the menu.

Or if someone with the same screen could give me the button combination to navigate to reset to defaults or logo light (in case the screen menu works but the displaying is broken)
EDIT: Actually, all the USB devices connected to the screen gets power (mouse, usb hub), so I assume the screen does get power.

Were you able to find the power button to the right of the Menu button?
In the picture, number 2 is the Menu button, number 3 is the power button. You can't feel the button, but press it and you'll hear it click.
The usb ports working shows your monitor is getting power. Hopefully it just needs turned on.
I was looking through the manual, I don't see anything about resetting it unless I overlooked it. I did come across some troubleshooting tips.
