ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM Random Signal Issue

Hello all I've recently bought the Asus PG27AQDM OLED monitor and have been blown away with it. I did find an issue after using for about 2 weeks now. Randomly while in HDR I found that my screen signal starting showing scan lines and artifacting, also the middle of the screen was split in half where the left side had more issues than the other side. It looks something similar to example below.

Example: https://v.redd.it/fx0tkn536fj81

Initially I shut off the monitor, unplugged the display port and restarted my machine, this did not solve the issue. Fortunately I did find a solution where I had to completely unplug the power cable from  the monitor and plug it back in, this fixed this issue and returned the monitor to normal. My monitor power supply cable is connected to a UPS so there isn't any grounding issues. The display port is v1.4 and is brand new as I purchased it before getting the monitor so I don't suspect any insolation, interference or cable issues.

I am wondering if I this is a common issue or is it possible that my monitor is already beginning to have issues?

Asus if possible it would nice if you followed up and addressed if this is hardware or software related issue.

Hi StaticJPL, I'm getting the idea that it's a hardware problem that Asus can't fix. Unfortunately it has occurred (thanks Canaan) that the MCM104 version does not solve the problem and Asus continues not to talk about it, soon it gives me the idea that they will remove this model from production.

i had a similar problem randomly the  Screen Freezes complete and nothing is working  anymore with the new Firmware on the monitor and this thing is brand new 2 weeks old  is this a hardware thing then Asus must say this to us and not Silent talk intern.

Hi @ItsmeNevs ,

based on your issue, in order to assist you better and clarify the issue, could you provide a video recording of the abnormal screen behavior you're experiencing? Are you currently using the PG27AQDM monitor? What type of signal cable are you using for the connection? Have you tried using a different cable, and did it resolve the issue? Additionally, please provide the current driver version. Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

This screen has some several issues... i got the same, and i read a lot in the internet about this problmes.. Everyone is experiencing the same problem. Scanlines and artifacts. I have the same issue and the screen was sent to their Support Centre to Repair. i got it back and still have these problems. Now, Asus refuse to take it back. This is the worst experience ever i made with them. I will never ever buy something from then again. The quality is the worst and for a screen ~1000€ i expect that it should work. And if not, they should fix it. And not telling people they will not take the the screen back. This company is far away from consumer friendly. It is not my fault if they sell faulty items to customers..
