Hi guys
here my problem since few weeks now :
Asus Oled 240hz PG27AQDM issue 5/01/2023. - YouTube
it happens randomly, especially during gaming session.
I tried many DP cable : same problem
reinstall drivers : same problem (latest drivers from Nvidia)
updating firmware, actually MCM 107 : same problem
restoring the monitor settings to the factory defaults. : same problem
The only solution is to set depth color to 8 bits instead of 10 bits and absolutely no more problem.
that s why I think it s a DSC problem with this monitor cos 1440p 8 bits 240 Hz has no DSC activated as DP 1.4 has sufficient bandwidth with this mode
(I dont use HDR)
It seems this screen has many issue with DSC (reported on this forum or reddit), should I RMA mine ?
thank your very much for your answer if you have an idea.

Hi @Cyberfredxxx ,
Regarding the random signal issues you're experiencing with your ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM monitor when enabling DSC (1440p 10-bit 240 Hz using DP 1.4). We recommand you sent the monitor to the official service center for further assistance. Thank you.

Hi Aureliann
thank you for your answer, it seems indeed my monitor has an issue but it s only since firmware MCM 107 😞 before this firmware, I ve never had such issue.
Now I upgrade to MCM108 and still problem.
But it s strange, it happens only the first min of gameplay session (I ve never had the issue when I m on windows or when I use internet on my browser , happens only in game)
when I reboot, I ve no message from display driver or something in log windows.
I think I ll send the monitor but I m afraid the official service send me back the monitor if they find nothing.
