ROG Swift Oled PG27ADQM - Base LED not working while extending tripod

Sam_9029

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my device to firmware MCM 108 (previously on MCM 105) because I started facing an issue. Whenever I extend my tripod, the LED lights below automatically turn off, and when I retract the tripod, the lights come back on. It was working fine until a day or so ago, and I hoped updating the firmware would resolve the issue, but it still persists.

I’m not sure if this is a firmware-related problem or something else. Has anyone experienced this, or does anyone have suggestions on how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @Sam_9029 ,

Thank you for contacting us.

To better assist you, we would like to gather more information regarding the issue you've encountered.

You mentioned that the LED light at the bottom automatically turns off when you extend the tripod. Are you referring to the base of the tripod?

To help us understand the issue more clearly, we kindly request that you provide us with an MP4 video recording of the problem.

If the video could include the following, it would be greatly appreciated:

  • Before extending the tripod: Show the overall status of the tripod, especially the brightness and color of the LED light.
  • The process of extending the tripod: Clearly demonstrate how you extend the tripod and how the LED light changes during this process.
  • When the issue occurs: Record the exact moment when the LED light turns off.

As you record the video, please narrate your actions step by step. This will help us identify the issue more quickly.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Hey, I'm sending you the video what actually happens when I lift up the monitor the LED lights goes off and when I pull it down it turns back on.
