I would like the get some answers from Asus on this.
I just recently bought the monitor only to later find out that it suffers from these issues, to the point where i find myself thinking if i should return the monitor (still on my return window). I would much like to keep using Asus product as i have always done, but it feels awfully tempting to return this monitor as it seems none of the competitors at same gen / Hz / price range are not having the same issue.
As these issues are widely reported by people online, as well as here on this forum and i would like to ask if there is any news on possible firmware fix for it? Is Asus working on it?
HDR seems to be ok now, no issues there. But the latest firmware MCM104 didn't fix the SDR.
I know there are some 3rd party software fixes available but after testing them, they are far from perfect.
This is sort of issues are kinda unacceptable at this price point.

Hi @Haippari ,
previously some users reported issues with the XG27AQDMG monitor where skin tones appeared abnormal and shadow details were lost in HDR mode at 100% brightness.
The team later released MCM104 to optimize HDR mode. You mentioned that your monitor has issues in SDR mode.
Could you please describe the problem in detail? (For example, are dark details lost, are colors distorted, or are there other abnormalities?) If you can provide a comparison image, it will be easier for us to judge.
Additionally, you mentioned that you recently purchased the monitor. To avoid affecting your usage, you can contact the dealer for further assistance. If you are willing to wait for our backend team to analyze and confirm the issue, please provide the following information:
Thank you.
