Refresh rate problem

Hello,

I have an ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS G16 (GU603ZU), I used to have a 240hz monitor that was working just fine with the good refresh rate, but today, I bought the monitor called "ASUS TUF VG34VQL3A" that's able reach 180Hz but it's stuck at 120. The reason behind this (i think) is that my monitor is as windows says plugged on Intel UHD Graphics and not detected in NVIDIA. I tried to disable Intel UHD graphics but nothing changes, my monitor is just not detected here because when it's disabled it just wont start. I hope that someone will know how to fix this, I'm kinda sad that I've used more money to get a higher refresh rate to get this...

Thanks for reading

Update:
My problem was my USB-C adaptator, for 2 monitors plugged in, caps at  120hz, new adaptator : 180Hz allowed.

Hi @d0v4 ,

based on your issue, may I ask whether you're currently using DisplayPort to connect the monitor?

In order to achieve a refresh rate of 180Hz, your resolution must be set to 3440*1440 and you need to use a DisplayPort cable for the connection.

You can refer to the chart below or consult the user manual for more information.

Thank you.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

I had the USB-C display port adaptater connected to the wrong port, but it's now connected to my dGPU. However, the refresh rate is still blocked at 120Hz.

Here is what it says if I try to add a custom resolution since the NVIDIA panel will only let me choose 120 as the highest, after this, my screen goes black for some seconds and goes back to normal.
