Since every thread is locked for this monitor, it's already been half a year and we still have no new firmware for this monitor on site while pg34wcdm at least get's some updates.
With all the banding issues happening how do we not get any updates on that or did you just straight up give up on all of us that bought this for not a small price to pay.
Anyone has any newer beta firmware that at least partially fixes things?
Fun fact: Day after this was written they put MCM103 to download with a date that it came out 15.1. and my post when i last checked was 26.1.

Regarding the HDR color banding issue you encountered, we have released a new firmware update (MCM103) on January 15, 2025, which effectively resolves this issue.
We recommend that you visit the ASUS website to download and update your device firmware to get the best display performance.

I downloaded the update from the link above, but when I try to update the firmware, I get this error. The USB flash drive update method also does not work:
