Is there any news if 39" version will have a new firmware update? I'm planning to return mine if no firmware on their roadmap. I'm currently on MCM102 and still experience issues in HDR like banding and posterization, hope that they are indeed working to release MCM103 at least.

I have received no further information as of yet and have seen nothing on the product page. I do find it interesting that you have MCM102 and both monitors that I had were MCM101.

Rest assured even 102 didn’t fix anything lol but i guess mine got shipped with this firmware i didn’t update anything, i think im gonna refund the monitor and replace with lg 45GR95QE-B, its basically the same monitor except its bigger, cheaper and doesnt have all this issues as of what im seeing on reddit.

There has been no news and probably smart thing is to make a decision on how things are now, not what could be in the future. Even if update comes it might not fix problems and not sure how long you need to wait. They are still updating AQDM that launched over year a go.

Yeah i guess ill just go for LG 45GR95QE-B, im just worried about the ppi in-game, i dont care about desktop usage a lot but i dunno how will it look in-game, fingers crossed 🤞🏻

If you want to keep the format there are also 34" and 39" LG version of that same panel with active cooling.

Actually id prefer bigger screen but since asus doest offer 45” i went for the pg39 but now the LG 45” seems intriguing

According to TFTCentral there are bigger screens coming with higher resolution. Think at this point it's wise to wait for CES for new stuff and then make a decision.

You have a good point 👍🏻

So in response to many of the messages, I have a friend who bought an LG and he seems to like it well but I have not seen it yet to judge for myself and I haven't looked to see if they're having any issues. I am interested in seeing what is coming down the line for maybe something bigger or better.
Now for the more interesting news with all the activity going on here is that I received an email from support on the case I submitted and this is what was said.
I'm writing this email to provide an update regarding on your on-going case.
The firmware update is being handled by the Scaler IC factory. There's no exact date that is provided, rest assured that the higher management is continuing to follow up on the progress of this case.
You have an option to proceed with the buyback, wherein facility will going to buy your unit out depending on your purchase price plus taxes, if you are anxious about waiting for the release of the firmware update due to no turn around time.
