PG34WCDM weird posterization HDR issue

Hi ASUS! I really like the PG34WCDM monitor but it has a big issue with HDR.

I have this problem with all of the games I play and it is posterization around bright lights and surfaces that light shines on. For example, I took a picture of a light while playing Halo Infinite. The first picture is the monitor in SDR mode. Notice how the light is first bright at the light source then fades off.

Now, if you look at the 2nd photo with HDR enabled, you notice how the light is bright at the light source but doesn't fade off like it should. Instead the light has a hardness about it and not a soft fade like it should.

When I tested this on my LG OLED it looked perfect and didn't have any weird posterization like the PG34WCDM has.

Here is what I have tried:

- Console HDR and Gaming HDR modes.

- Calibrated Windows HDR and game HDR by following instructions.

- Brightness switched between 90 and 100. It does nothing, so I have left brightness to 90 most of the time.

- I have updated all my PC's drivers. Nvida drivers are always up to date.

- Tried DP and HDMI cables no image difference. I prefer using DP.

Monitor firmware has been updated to MCM104 - that didn't help.

Please ASUS, help me to get this fixed as I really do like the monitor and don't want to return it.

My system is:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X

GPU - EVGA 3090

RAM - 64GB RAM

Is there any ASUS staff that can help me with this issue?

Had the exact same issue with PG27AQDM. Sold it and got the PG32UCDM, which works perfectly and has excellent graduation handling. Seems like ASUS did not know how to properly calibrated WOLED panels... They couldn't get this posterisation thing fixed over the last year with 5 firmware updates...not to mention any color accuracy issues...
