When I plug my monitor in with usb so I can use usb ports i get a message saying the usb device is not recognised and may not function properly yet i can seem to still use it. This happens when it is plugged into usb 3.2 or red usb ports not the 'normal' ports

Hi @Cheeseman442 ,
Thank you for contacting ASUS support.
Regarding your issue with the USB ports on your PG34WCDM monitor, where the system displays a message stating that the USB device may not function properly when connected to USB 3.2 or red USB ports, but seems to work on regular USB ports, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Update drivers:
Power management settings:
USB port malfunction:
If the problem persists after you have tried the above steps, we recommend that you bring your monitor and all the included cables to the nearest ASUS service center for inspection by a professional engineer.
Thank you.

So I have tried updating stuff and whatnot (it is a brand new PC so everything was uptodate)
Looked at my ports and it says there is an unknown usb device (port reset failed) (Code 43) so i dunno if that is the monitor or not
Checked settings on monitor but no clue how to change power settings for monitor in monitor settings. I have seen online that there are other people experiencing this issue.
Have tried differnt ports and cables
The other info you requested, I am not sure how to get so if you could tell me that would be amazing
