Hey!
I'm connecting: keyboard + mouse + audio interface to monitor via usb, then usb-b + displayport goes to PC, usb-c goes to mac mini
PC works great, since its using usb and video separately. Mac setup have some issues:
Using usb-c cable that came with the monitor I'm observing sound and video drops (sound/ stops for a second or two at random intervals, or screen goes black for a second or two)
I've had some luck with different usb-c cables - like Rode SC27 (rated for 5GBPS) - no issues with sound, however it still drops video sometimes, other random usb-c cables - it's going to be either sound or video drop at random intervals
I've bought apple thunderbolt 5 cable and will check if it will help the issue.
If I connect monitor to mac with hdmi + usb-c it works almost fine, however there's no way to disable video through usb-c, which means mac detects both connections, and auto selecting input source on monitor prefers usb-c connection, so if its coming out of sleep it will always go to USB-C connection.
It would be a great help if there was a menu option to disable video through usb-c and just use it as a kvm downstream, like usb-b for pc.
