I saw that on the drivers page for the PG34WCDM there is a new firmware MCM102, I just wanted to know if there is any difference between MCM201 and MCM102.

@Shinkuji

Yes, it fixed an issue where 240hz or gsync wasn't possible over HDMI with a 4090 on the previous FW, at least for me.

Hi @Shinkuji ,

thank you for your inquiry.

The MCM 1020 firmware version has been optimized for graphics card compatibility.

You can find more information through the following link.

Providing detailed device specifications (MB/CPU/GPU/PSU, etc.) and the respective driver versions, OS version, and BIOS version will help us analyze the issue more effectively.

It only improves graphics card compatibility?

are u able to use hdmi 2.1 with the 4090 at 240hz with dsc disabled? wondering if this monitor has full bandwith hdmi 2.1

Unfortunately I can't test anymore as I returned the monitor.

If I remember I had to have dsc on, but cant be 100%, sorry.

where is the firmware.....  clicking on drivers only has the monitor driver and color profile.   also having problems where i want to use HDMI 2.1 for 240 mhz and gsync compatible so dont have to use DSC.  yet there is no firmware.   this monitor has been a pain in the ass.  from the horrible color toning and HDR colors, to not being able to use hdmi 2.1 for no DSC
