PG32UCDP horizontal lines across the entire monitor

I've gotten my monitor yesterday, and since plugging it in, I've noticed these weird horizontal lines accross the display. They are static (if I move content they do not move with the content) and they are perfectly parapel, span the entire width of the monitor and are consistent from top to bottom. They are more noticeable in dark grey, but can be seen in any color. I'm attaching some pictures.

Pixel clean did not do anything, changing cables did not do anything, no issues on LG C2 TV or my second monitor (27'' 1440p IPS).

Does anyone know what these are??

EDIT: Just to clarify, these lines are more visible in person than in the pictures.

My monitor came with MCM105 installed which I assumed is a newer version?

All right,

Yes, it would seem you have a later version.

Do you have the latest graphics driver installed?

You could try performing an "All Reset" on the monitor.

It's found in the OSD, System Set up, All Reset.

Do you get the horizontal lines with both HDMI and Displayport?

Hey Nate,

I am not on the absolute latest nvidia drivers as they're not stable yet for the games I play, I'm just a few updates behind, I don't think that would be the issue, as the picture is perfect whether I put it on LG C2 or my old monitor.

I had not tried connecting the monitor via HDMI before, but since you mentioned it I tried it and the issue persists there too. I've always used DP otherwise. I tried both with the cable provided by ASUS and a different cable I have. I also tried changing the DP port that I was using on the GPU and it didn't make a difference.

I've jus ttried doing the All Reset and it didn't change anything.

Honestly I'm kinda stumped and thinking if the monitor is actually defective? Because if it's meant to be like this this is horrible? My old IPS has worse colors but overall is better to look at because I don't get these lines on it.

Sadly i also have this issue as well, scan lines for me appear at around 25 % gray. ive only used it for a few hours though but its quite clear sadly.

That is really disheartening to hear, I was hoping this is either a fixable issue or even a defective panel, because if it's supposed to look like this, this is in no way worth the asking price, it has nicer colors and highlights than my old IPS, but overall feels like a downgrade because of these lines 😞

I was told that this was due to how woled is, but regardless, il be trying getting a replacement, everything else seems fine to me its just the grays are quite bad. But i do agree given the asking price this error is quite unacceptable.   Someone did tell me if i use the monitor for around 100  h certain scan lines do disappear though, im not quite sure how accurate this statement is, perhaps for older gen panels but  im not quite sure about this particular panel; im currently just running pixel refresh every 2 hours to see if thats making a difference.

I mean the problems I've always heard about woled was the matte/mla bluriness I definitely didn't expect these lines, especially since I've had an LG C2 for a while now which never had a single issue. And if it was just greys it wouldn't be too bad, but I can notice this even in games where there's a simpler color pallete, which really makes me feel like this is not a premium product. Interesting that runtime could improve these issues, but I'm not going to risk going past the warranty/return window in the hopes that these will go away. Despite my concerns for QD-OLED, I think I will get one of them to try and see if the image is better than this, because this does not feel like an upgrade right now 😕 Which sucks because when I compared TVs I much prefered the LG WOLED.

In my case, i really do wish to have the dual hz system so il most likely stick with this and get a replacement; hopefully the second monitor wont have these issues, fingers crossed.
